The Rosewood House b&b was an absolute gem! We were so lucky to have found it, the owners were the most lovely and accommodating couple who were helpful in every way. The room was fantastic, quite clean and like staying in a true "home". Breakfast was great, and Catherine catered it to our liking each morning, how nice! The prices were extremely reasonable, and though it seems to be in the middle of nowhere (perk), it is not far to get to Bridgwater which was where we had business. I would stay again anytime I came back, and hope to be able to do so in the future. Highly recommended!!

Excellent b & b for people interested in Wildlife, Countryside, Shops and all aspects concerning the History of this part of Somerset. The house was very clean and welcoming. The Owner was always willing to give up some of her time to talk to us. We would stay there again.

Clean, tidy and well presented. Easy to find with sufficient parking in a quiet area and within walking distance of the local pub. A warm welcome from the owner and an excellent breakfast. Able to come and go as you please. Tea, coffee, biscuits and water in the room which were replenished when used.

Catherine. The host, could not do enough for us. The house was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were lovely. The room was really comfortable. The meals at the local pub just minutes away by car were excellent. The b&b was central for so many locations Wells, Street (clarks Village) Taunton not far. Seaside, yeovil bridgwater.

We stayed in the apartment linked to Rosewood B & B, this apartment was of very high standard. It had everything which we needed and more, but the best thing was the wonderful views. We loved being able to sit on the verandah in the morning and have our breakfast looking out over the countryside and river. We were obviously very lucky with the weather for the time of year we stayed there. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and their dog was a delight. It was just what we needed as two people who spend nearly all their time working, this enabled us to just get away from everything, and we even got engaged whilst staying there. we would recommend this apartment and the B & B to everyone.

The beds were so comfortable, we both slept really well. Breakfast was excellent. We were able to relax and felt well looked after. Catherine was knowledgeable about the local area and was helpful with directions and information. The room was quiet, spacious and very clean.

We liked the spaciousness and comfort of the room, the excellent view from the window, the peace and quietness of the surrounding countryside, and, of course, we enjoyed the warm family-like atmosphere created by the landlady and landlord of Rosewood House b&B. They were very friendly and helpful and did their utmost to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Rosewood House b&b is a perfect home away from home.

As soon as we arrived at Rosewood House we were made to feel really welcome with tea and cakes in the garden. The house has a homely feel about it and our room was very comfortable. It was so nice to wake up and have a full english breakfast made with good quality local ingredients and then have a strole along the river bank taking in the view of Burrow Mump. A meal at the local pub is also highly recommended.

Situated on the Somerset levels in a small village with lots of easy walks. Taunton the county town is approx. 9 miles away but well worth a visit. We went for the cricket to see the final game of the championship and Lancs won. The village has an excellent friendly pub with good food and local beer. Rosewood itself was friendly and very clean, no breakfast menu but your request was their command and well cooked with if possible local ingredients.

We were given a warm welcome by the proprietor. The b and b was located in the countryside away from passing traffic. The bedroom was spacious and beautifully and thoughtfully furnished to accommodate the needs of the guests. We were given helpful information about where to enjoy our evening meal and information about the surrounding area, which made us think about returning for a longer stay. Freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice was prepared and presented attractively with real napkins not thin paper tissues. Local, high quality ingredients were available. Attention to detail was first class. Parking at the property was also a bonus.5* experience.

The couple running Rosewood House were lovely, and really welcoming, as soon as we arrived. The added amusement from the pets was a welcome distraction after our long drive too -one cat stuck on the roof of the house, another trying to launch itself at a tree, and the dog running around like a whirlwind - the combination really made it more special than your typical B+B. When we arrived, Catherine (owner) asked if we had plans for dinner, and recommended the local pub, she even phoned to check if they had any space and booked us in... the extra mile that's so rare lately. Definitely recommend the King Alfred - more than pub grub. The full english the following morning was really tasty and served in a lovely dining room. Really good value for money; massive room; comfy bed and plenty of storage space; powerful shower (a must) and a view of the river and fields. If we are ever down in Somerset again, we'll be sure to look them up.

We found this a very enjoyable, and quiet stay. The couple who run this bed and breakfast are the friendliest, and most helpful people we have had the pleasure to meet in a long time. We are going to stay again in November and will be watching the carnival. The local pub they recommended does out standing food, and being able to walk along the river from the house is a big plus. We are looking forward to our next visit. The cats and dogs are also friendly. Also the walking from the house is excellent.

Large well presented room. Friendly and helpful owners. Quiet relaxing environment with a lovely view. A great place to stay if you want to escape from the commercial world. Breakfast was delicious. The local pub served good food. There is a walk you can do up the local mump. We travelled to Cheddar and Glastonbury in the car from here quite easily. An all round good experience.

The b&b is quiet with a few nearby pubs so if people are looking for nightlife then they might be disappointed. However if you are looking to relax and visit the local sites then this is a great place to stay. Excellent view of Burrow Mumps and the surrounding countryside plus a wonderful breakfast.

The whole Rosewood experience was tremendous from start to finish. Every need was pandered for with so many unique touches. The location was idylic with fantastic countryside views, but yet close enough to several big Towns too not feel isolated. The couple running the b & b were genuinely lovely and always there to help without being intrusive in any way. A great quality for b & b hosts I believe. All in all a "five star" experience. I would highly recommend.

A stuning landscape from the window, clean, well-equipped stylish room. Comfortable big bed. Outstanding breakfast. Friendly, flexible hosts. A home away from home. Maybe even better...

Went away for husband's birthday treat, for some reflection on life at present! Stayed in Rosewood self catering annexe, absolutely brilliant, just what we wanted. Time away from home for a short time. No pressure to arrive for breakfast at certain time. Comfort, cleanliness and practical touches everywhere (ie small torch to use when walking back from Pub). Scenery fantastic too, from balcony looking over River Parrett, saw deer in distance jumping across fields. Would return.

We stumbled across Rosewood House by accident. Despite ringing out of the blue, and fairly late in the day, we were given a wonderfully warm welcome and were delighted by the quality of the accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble - and there was the added bonus of being able to walk out of the garden onto the Somerset Levels, with the Burrow Mump on the horizon. Breakfast, the next morning, was excellent.
I shall certainly return - and have passed on the contact details to many friends, since my stay.
